SproutX Pioneers needs farmers!

SproutX is the centre of Australia’s $100 billion agriculture opportunity. Through the SproutX Pre-Accelerator, Accelerator, co-working space programs and Venture Capital Fund, innovation within the sector is enabled through the empowerment of entrepreneurs and their agtech startups.

After the completion of the first accelerator in 2017, we have supported the development of some innovative, commercially viable, game-changing technology. In 2018 we’re doing it all again, with a fresh cohort of early stage agtech startups commencing this month (April).

SproutX Pioneers is an initiative to connect SproutX startups with early-adopter farmers to trial and test their technology on commercial farms.

Technology will help us sustainably increase productivity in agriculture by lifting outputs and decreasing inputs. SproutX is enabling local talent to build internationally scalable businesses, but we need farmers to come on the journey with us, after all, the technology is for them.

The process is a simple two-minute registration for farmers who are interested in  participating, with an option for them to also suggest pain points or problems they need solved on-farm.

So, if you are a farmer, or know one who would be eager to trial new agtech, or have problems on farm that need solving, sign up or spread the word!

Our Aussie agtech startups will be further accelerated if they can connect with leaders on-farm to trial and test their business.
